As a singer and entertainer, Alana always had a special love in her heart for entertaining children with popular princess songs along with reading them books that emotionally and intellectually engage and have an overall good moral. However, Alana could never truly find a children's book that had a high entertainment factor using mermaids along with interweaving the two most important passions of her heart. These two passions include helping the female gender see themselves as capable, competent, and confident enough to make the same achievements as the male gender. Secondly, as a bi-racial woman, Alana has a passion to tear down the divide between races and create a peaceful movement of diversity and unity. Alana had dreamed of these two passions being manifested in a unique and creative way through her gifts and talents to make the world a better place.
